CAST 2020
PILOT PROJECT
Communications for the Archdiocese Specialist Training (CAST) began in January 2020, in Trinidad. The participants attended Audio and Video classes at Trinity TV studios and Print and Social Media classes were facilitated at CAMSEL (Catholic Media Services Ltd). With the onset of the pandemic the programme had to be adjusted to on-line in March.

Students of CAST 2020’s Video Production Class completed Final Projects based on the theme of
“Living in a Time of Pandemic”
Participants are coached in elements of scriptwriting, editing, camera operation & audio to create a unique piece of work.

Communications for the Antilles Specialist Training
CAST 2021
With the generous assistance of an Adveniat grant procured through the Antilles Episcopal Conference, CAST moved forward with its plan to expand its multimedia training for all nineteen AEC dioceses over a period of 3 years (2021-2023).
The first phase began virtually in January 2021 with 24 participants from Antigua, Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, and St Lucia.
